Christmas in God's Country!

Hondo's very own Holiday Weekend Tradition.

Christmas in Gods Country is our annual Christmas event full of family friendly activities and shopping.

Friday night boasts a Hometown Holiday with Christmas Carols, Pictures with Santa, Horse Drawn Carriage Rides, Food Trucks and MORE!

Come back Saturday and get that Christmas shopping checked off the list.  Vendors set up booths in downtown Hondo around the courthouse square and sell artisan crafts, homemade beauty supplies, snacks and fried food, and a wide array of handmade items that make amazing Christmas gifts.  With over 100 market day vendors, you are sure to find that perfect gift for everyone on your list.

Saturday evening, we host Hondo's favorite longstanding tradition, the Lighted Night Parade.  Bundle up, get there early and enjoy the spectacular floats.

This event brings locals out into the town, while also bringing in 100's of people from out of town to enjoy the weekend of fun. Come join us in Downtown Hondo for this decades old tradition.
