Lots of Events Coming in 2020!

Happy New Year! We hope you and your family had wonderful Christmas and New Year's celebrations. We are off with a bang in 2020 and have some fantastic events coming your way!

First, we have our Breakfast Briefing on January 21 at the Hondo Public Library at 8:30. Find out what we have in store this year while enjoying a delicious breakfast from Vaquero's Restaurant. We will see you there!

Experience 90 is Back! We will be printing 1000 guides to distribute throughout the community that list all participating eateries, boutiques, and points of interest. These businesses are all Chamber members located in Castroville, Hondo, and D'Hanis. When you visit these businesses, you get your guide stamped. After you visit 30 or more of the participating businesses, you can turn your guidebook in to our office. Then, you will be entered into a multiple gift basket drawing with fabulous prizes! Winners won't be announced until May, so you have plenty of time to visit businesses.​ We would like to thank Venatura Excursions for generously donating the grand prize - the use of their Creekside Shooting Pavilion & Skeet Shoot for up to 10 guests - a $1000 value!​ February 1st will be the launch date. We are very proud of this initiative that will encourage our community to shop/eat/enjoy local!

When you stop by each shop and get your flyer signed, you will be entered to win a fabulous gift basket filled with goodies from each of our participating stores!

Carhartts & Cocktails is almost here! This social event of the year highlights the successes of Chamber members and our community. Celebrate with us, at the beautiful Knowlton's Vista Verde Ranch, as we recognize the companies and volunteers who partner with us to be the voice of business, create jobs, and help our community thrive.

Sample delicious food from several of our wonderful, local restaurants, and dance the night away with music by Double Bogey.
