Making Plans for a Festive Fall

We had a great time at Hunt Hondo and appreciate all of our amazing sponsors, vendors, and everyone who came out to celebrate hunting in Hondo with us! Now, we are gearing up for a festive fall!

Our Fall Shop Hop kicks off the season on October 4th from 5-9 p.m. Enjoy late night shopping in Hondo while sampling delicious drinks and snacks provided by our wonderful shops! You will be able to snag incredible deals, discounts, and giveaways. We will even have a Chamber booth this year, so you can purchase Parisa t-shirts! And...if you get your flyer signed at each stop, you will be entered to win a fabulous gift basket filled with goodies from all the participating stores! So, grab your friends for this fun night out!

Need some more fall-spiration?!? Get your business signed up for our Scarecrow Contest by October 4th! It is free to enter, so email us at info@hondochamber.org. Then, decorate your store front for the fall season. Scarecrows must be up by October 7th to be considered for judging. We will surprise the winner on October 10th during Let's Go LIVE. We can't wait to see our town looking "Fallbulous"!

Get your calendars marked for Christmas in God's Country on November 22-23! We are moving our biggest event of the year back to November to get an early start on all of the Christmas fun! Friday evening, from 6-9, experience the lighting of City Hall, FREE carriage rides, a snow play area, a Christmas movie, musical performances, and pictures with Santa. ALL FREE!!!

Then, come back Saturday to get your Christmas shopping done at Market Days from 10-4, while enjoying delicious food from our food vendors and drinks at our Beer & Wine booth. Be sure to get your seats saved for the evening as our event wraps up with our infamous Lighted Night Parade. View dozens of beautifully decorated floats that will be sure to get you in the Christmas spirit!
